Dear Mr Repetto Malaga,
MUTEC 2018 is on a promising path. We have already received a high number of registrations from exhibitors. We would like to thank our regular exhibitors, especially those who have been loyal to us since the first MUTEC in Leipzig in 2010.
The promising number of registrations shows that our success from 2016 continues to bear fruit. If you consider exhibiting at this year’s MUTEC, you should take a look at our early booking options. All registrations coming in before 31 March will receive a 10-percent discount for the requested exhibition space.
This edition of MUTECaktuell contains some news on MUTEC 2018, as well as an interesting report on the MUTEC experience from our exhibitor DroidSolutions.
Best regards from Leipzig,
Your MUTEC team

What our exhibitors are saying: “KULDIG at MUTEC“(DroidSolutions)
MUTEC 2016 was very popular with visitors and exhibitors alike. Dennis Willkommen is the managing director of DroidSolutions, one of our exhibitors. He tells of his personal experience at MUTEC’s previous edition, what he expected from his company’s participation, the success he found with the new KULDG brand, as well as his goals for MUTEC 2018.
MUTEC Forum: Popular topics will be continued
Once again MUTEC will offer a cross-disciplinary professional programme with exciting topics for museums, archives and libraries. The MUTEC Forum is an opportunity for visitors to see and hear presentations by exhibitors and partners without prior registration or additional fees, right within the trade fair hall. The successful topics from 2016 will be continued. Two topics that found huge interest two years ago will again be part of the programme: “Lighting” and “Accessibility”. “Digitisation” and “Changes in perspective” are two new thematic blocks. All registered exhibitors can become part of the professional programme with talks and presentations of their own. Why not contact us with your ideas?
Always prepared for emergencies: Two seminars on the recovery of cultural assets
Operators of cultural institutions that are home to valuable cultural assets should always be prepared for damage events. Karin von Lerber, a consultant for museums (Prevart GmbH), knows this only too well. She has been working in disaster response and mitigation for cultural assets since the early 1990s. In two seminarsat MUTEC 2018, she will pass on the knowledge gained from numerous recovery operations and interactions with firefighters, civil defence authorities and museum experts.
MUTEC as your platform for professional communication – 365 days a year.
In addition to our MUTEC website, we frequently post updates to our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter & XING) with news on the trade fair. This naturally also includes information on our exhibitors. Registered exhibitors have the opportunity to reach out to visitors even before the event and keep the followers of our social-media channels abreast of what they have to offer at MUTEC 2018. All we need for this is suitable product information with photos and your company logo. An online form is available for the easy upload of your product information.
